What is Crossfit?
CrossFit is one of the most effective and efficient general fitness programs in the world. We use constantly varied, functional movements at an intensity that delivers dramatic fitness results for individuals of all fitness levels. Our goal is to prepare our athletes for life’s obstacles. We do that by using training that mimics life – running, jumping, throwing, squatting, pulling, pushing, lifting.
You will rarely do the same workout twice at CrossFit West Covina. By doing something different every time you keep the body guessing. Eliminating plateaus and boredom commonly found in traditional gyms and programming. There is still a method with each WOD being programed by Head Coach/ Owner Eric Bugarin. The goal is to emphasize basic compound movement strength such as Deadlifts, Squats, Presses, and Pulling with the focus revolving around the quality of your movement. This will build fundamental strength, avoid injury, and help you perform your best during out Metcons (Metabolic Conditioning Workouts).
